Toshiba Gigabeat V30T With Portable Media Center

Toshiba introduces the Gigabeat V30T 30GB MEV30T portable media player with terrestrial digital TV tuner (One-Seg aka 'wansegu').

The Toshiba Gigabeat V30T runs Microsoft's Portable Media Center and features a 3.5 inch color TFT screen with QVGA resolution and 400cd/m2 brightness.

Toshiba integrated PVR functionality inside the V30T allowing you to record TV programs directly onto the 30GB hard-drive. As Toshiba is a partner of Microsoft the format support is accordingly. Besides WMA 9 Lossless, WMA and WMV the V30T supports MP3 and Wav files.

A single battery charge lets you listen to music for 25 hours, 9 hours watching video and 7 hours of wansegu (live digital TV). The new Toshiba Gigabeat V30T goes on sale in June in Japan. No pricing information available as of yet.
