Undertow Free to All XBOX Live Gamers

XBOX live gamers will be entitled to a free download of Undertow from the XBOX Live Arcade in response to the recent excessive XBOX Live downtime. The game will be available to both silver and gold members.

We’re pleased to announce that from 2:00 a.m. PST Wednesday, January 23, 2008 through 11:59 p.m. PST, Sunday, January 27, 2008 you can download the full version of the recent Xbox LIVE Arcade game, Undertow free of charge.

My first thought was this is going to some ****ty game for free, but went to xbox.com but it looks pretty decent.

this game is rubbish imo!

This looks like that ps3 game that u can download, its pretty boring after 5mins.

I like how people are complaining about a free game. If it's boring after you download it then just delete it. They could have given the Live community nothing if they wanted to.

How about a month free considering the crappy service that lasted A MONTH!

yeah i found out about this from xbox-scene not long ago.

damn shame to, cause i was hoping they where going to give us a game of "our" choice instead of picking one for us.

cause the only game i really want on xbox live arcade is UMK3 (Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3). but i guess it aint the end of the world since i already have a arcade perfect copy of it on my pc using the MAME emulator... which uses the UMK3 arcade rom. so it cant get any better than that ... plus i played the game (demo) and it's not nearly as good cause of the xbox360's d-pad which sucks for a game like that which u need the d-pad to function properly which it screws up way to often.

so ill stick with X-Arcade + MAME + UMK3 arcade rom = pretty much arcade perfect copy lacking button placement on the x-arcade stick.
