uTorrent 3.3.2 Build 30544

µTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little CPU, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. µTorrent was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources - typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is contained within a single executable less than 1.0 MB in size.

It WAS like that... 3-4 years ago. But not true anymore! Since version 3.x, it has become the same resource hog as all the software I have seen since I work with computers (20+ years). I believe thats the inevitable evolution of all small and efficient software: as time passes by, developers put more and more **** into the code, so it starts bloating and bloating and bloating.
I am really very sorry for utorrent, it really WAS a good program 6 years ago. Unfortunately the (really) good new features were sideloaded with some bad and unnecessary ones, and the balance is today way on the bloat side. RIP.

Still using 2.2.1 (on 8.1 and working fine). They really screwed up the UI. Can you still disable all the ad stuff albeit in a bit of a round about way with the advanced settings?
