uTorrent 3.4.0 Build 30596

µTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little CPU, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. µTorrent was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources - typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is contained within a single executable less than 1.0 MB in size.

This soft installed Search Protect by Conduit on my PC even though I unchecked any suggestions to install third-party softs

Does anyone have the same problem as mine?

add these two lines in "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS"
127.0.0.1 offers.bittorrent.com
127.0.0.1 apps.bittorrent.com

its work for me to block all offers and advertisement in utorrent.

What's the point of the social media icons? And why is it so large now? 3.3.2.30446 (the one I use) is 1.08MB, while this is 1.76MB.

I'm going to try the portable to see what new things it brings, but this is disappointing.

Size itself is not the issue. The Issue is that a ~38% size increase brings jack in features. It's just integrating more ads in it.

I don't know what you call a huge size of a piece of software being occupied by ads, but I call it bloat. They're also slowly adding stuff that can't be removed, like the stupid social buttons. Can't wait to hear you defend those.

Nothing has changed the way i used utorrent from its beginning until now.
It's reliable and it does its job exceptionally. Not the ads, nor the social buttons now, have ever gotten in my way, or decreased its usability or value.
You my friend and quite a few other people, are what i call a bunch of nitpicking wieners of the internet, never being content with what they have or get.

Very content with the version I use, thank you very much. Just disappointed development is going in direction I don't like, ads before anything.
