Anything it does/doesnt support?
Any reason I'd choose this over Microsoft VM?

I have found that Virtual PC is extremely difficult to set up Linux virtual machines with.
VirtualBox is damn near effortless.

Also, the seamless windows feature is really cool and I don't think anyone else does that.

BTW, the changelog is in THE USERS MANUAL

VirtualBox supports non Microsoft OSs such as Linux as well as the ones supported by Microsoft VM although not as full featured. In terms of speed, there isnt really much difference if you have enough RAM.

It doesn't handle Windows 98 very well for some technical reasons I've heard

I had no problems with 98SE. Granted I don't really use it anymore because it is no longer updated or supported by MS.

BTW, the changelog is now displayed on the website!
