Watch Samsung announce the Galaxy S IV right here

Later this evening, Samsung will announce the heavily leaked Samsung Galaxy S IV. If you want to watch the event, we have embedded the live stream above for your viewing pleasure.

The device will surely be the next flagship phone for Samsung as they have successfully positioned their Galaxy line of phones as a top tier device in the mobile phone segment and this device follows-up the wildly successful Galaxy S III.

If all of the leaks are to be believed, the device will include some nifty technology such as being able to interact with the touchscreen without have to actually touch it (goodbye finger smudges).

Make sure to check back later when the event goes live so you can see Samsung officially announce its next generation device.

Thanks for the tip djdanster!

I must be blind bec I thought the presentation was ok. The only issue is how you look at it. I didnt care about the antics as all stage shows have them. I was looking at how they demoed the features and how they apply to real world usage. I felt everything was good except the All Share havign the ability to make each phone be a certain speaker in a surround-like usage. Its not practical as getting 5 people together with the same phone is nearly impossible. The other features enhance or add to the features of the GS3 and the GN2 into a single device. You get the S-Pen features on some level without needing the pen. The dual photo/recording mode wheere the shooter can also be in the picture is actually an awesome feature even if it is just the headshoot. Most photographers charge extra to super impose a picture. Being able to remove when people get into your shot is also nice. Making a action sequel into a picture is really good.

Think if you have a kid that loves to do flips. Get a picture with a shot of each movement into a single frame is nice. That means less videos you will have to send.

Whath the ugly fans abd crybabies here seemed to have missed is where the phoine is actually useful to them. If you only think that these are petty upgrades over the other previous device, then you obviously dont need this phone.

If I still had my 4S or even the GS3 I gave my wife, I would get this device. But since i have the GN2 for myself, the phone physically would be going backwards. But I do hope Samsung brings some of those enhancements over to the Note 2 on some level. I would love to have the dual recording.

Listen to all the people regretting buying the iPhone or Windows phone now that ALL the specs have been released by Samsung.. Sorry guys, be it as it is, but this phone is a ANIMAL!!

-5-inch FULL HD Super-AMOLED Screen (441ppi)
-Exynos 5 Octa processor, clocked at 1.8GHz.
-2 GB of RAM
-Android 4.2.1 Operating system.
-The main camera is 13-megapixel and the front facing is 2-megapixel.
-4G LTE (where available)
-16, 32, and 64 GB storage options.
-2600mAh battery which will certainly keep you going for a while.

You are right this phone has some cool features and nice hardware...
Too bad they choose Android as a platform for this... and as so I will never buy it....

This really makes me understand why Google is becoming so worried about Samsung... its completely out of their hands... now if they removed the "phone home" (Google) features and make Google play an option and not mandatory, I would consider it...
Somehow I think one of the "Devils" (Samsung or Google) is going to end up screwing the other in this "partnership"., or it can became the partnership of the HELL!

Microsoft and Nokia need to go back to the office, ASAP, today if possible, and I don't know how Firefox and BB are going to step up.

<s>
Apple shouldn't be worried anyway, their followers don't care about this stuff since this is not an iGalaxy S4....
</s>

The hole presentation was kinda cool at first, but after so many "jokes of the same" I don't know if it was funny anymore or if they were forcing the jokes on me...

By the adding audio to a picture?!?! doesn't this is called video, I think I someone whisper to me this innovation like when I was not born yet, I guess Samsung got a little confused with the terminology between picture and video! or could it be a picture video that you can ear! idk choose one just don't mix a nice feature (that will freak people out when seeing pictures alone in dark through the night, and randomly someone starts speaking in the room, this assuming that this format is a standard that will work anywhere) and innovation!

The US version will likely have the Snapdragon 600 as a quad...but not Octa (left to be seen)

It's running Android 4.2.2 not 4.2.1

the 32 and 64 models likely wont hit the USA either as they didnt for the GS3. I surely wanted the 64GB model. US carriers wont do Apple pricing on phones. As we have seen the 64GB models dont sell well here or anywhere.

There I fixed it.

Sorry, I thought this story was about the Galaxy S4. Why did you bring up the iPhone? I didn't say anything about the iPhone looking the same for a reason. It's not on the topic at hand.

Or are you simply trying to be a troll in the hope that I was an Apple fan and would react? If so, go away. I like them all.

There's nothing exciting about this new S4, did they ever mention the core processor? I don't care about the dame new picture taking, video recording, 5inch screen(which I think it's outrages) or new video calling. I was hoping to see improve graphic cards, and core processor. Why did they spent time on this presentation, it was waste of time and money. People like me isn't going to use half this ****.

looks like they just stole other phones stuff for the most part with the hub and the gloves and some other stuff, not really that impressive and a bunch of useless **** most average user will never use.

Sa! Hope that they don't cramp up Nokia with the glove stuff. Nokia did it first....

Also... that Samsung Hub looks a lot like Win Pho's.

oh, didn't even realize this was happening today.
I'm currently leaning towards getting the Xperia ZL, let's see if the Galaxy S IV changes my mind

You aren't missing much. Design-wise, it looks almost exactly the same as the S3, not that I'm complaining. The S3 looks great...I was simply hoping for at least a bit of a design change. Naturally the specs have been beefed up and there are new features.
