I don't know about you guys but I don't think I can recall any MS release in recent times where the crowd were cheering and hollering enthusiastically. Well done!

I absolutely love it.... I already like it so much more then the iPad... they did such a great job with everything.. Panos is a great presentor too. Bravo to their entire team.

Man, I would have loved to have been just given a free Surface . Just like a lot of others, I'm waiting for the pro model. I'm a bit disappointed that there wasn't any info on it.

I think he may have reversed a few words.

His brain speaks faster than his mouth. Happens to me all the time.

What did he say right at the VERY end? "Hey guys, just a little announcement..." I think it blocked the audio out after that.

'a magical moment when you plug stuff into the USB port'...

Yes that was a cheesy line but how many other tablets could you do that on and copy your pictures so quickly and easily?

Not sure. With the iPad you'd need the camera connection kit if you wanted to plug in a camera - I don't know too much about Android tablets, but I'm assuming some of them have built-in USB ports?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Apple camera connection kit doesn't give you a USB port though does it? I though it basically gave you an SD card socket?

It includes two adapters, one giving you a USB port, the other an SD card reader.

One thing nobody has noticed is that Microsoft made sure the windows button stands out even when folded back so people know your using a surface from far away.

His mannerisms kind of remind me of a con artist or a magician...

Hey, he did better than Ballmer. Real passion.
