Tried your suggestion, but still didn't stop the spiking.

Side note, I don't know which is worse, the spiking of my memory or being unable
to successfully remove the software.

Oh well, back to Comodo.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

I looked into the config and could not see where to change this. Perhaps you should look inside the browsers add-ons/extensions and if it is there disable and see if it stops.

If someone can tell me how the hell to config this program to stop monitoring
my browsing behavior as it spikes my memory (8Gb). YES! it does, and only returns to
normal only after I close my browser. I will re-install it.

Thanks Copernic I appreciate it. I would not have written anything if I did not experience what I did. I keep asking myself is this real?

Why don't other programs do this? I have Norton IS 2014 on my machine and it does not use many resources but not at the level of Webroot.

I actually installed on my Wife's machine and I was blown away. It did everything including a scan in under 5 minutes. I have not done a deep scan since they claim under 5 minutes for the whole machine.

I can attest to the following: Did install under 5 minutes, no config needed at that time and was very hassle free.

Post install 2 files running in task manager total memory used a combined 5 megabytes which is saying a lot! System is still fast no slow down and the icon just sits there leaving you alone unless a threat were to occur. I have a 15 day trial but will probably get a license for it.

I did go into the settings and configured to my needs but in reality I had to little because was pretty much configured by default. I used to love back in the day Window Washer for XP but with this new breed of program I am very happy. I am confident this will do what it says.

The best, honest review I ever read!
