Weekend downloadable PC games sales for Dec. 14-16

We are ready for the weekend to start. We think you are as well. As all of us prepare for the end of the world holidays, it's time to kick back and enjoy playing some games. We have a few suggestions that are on sale right now

Steam is letting folks download the full version of Tripwire Interactive's Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad and play it for free from now until Sunday at 4 pm Eastern time. The game has also received a new content update that adds a new map and new improvements to its Countdown game mode. The full game is on sale for 75 percent off its normal price. Steam also has Crysis 2: Maximum Edition on sale this weekend for 75 percent off.

GoG.com is in the middle of its holiday sales event, with new price cuts every day until January 3rd. Today, a number of indie RPG games, including the original Torchlight, are on sale for 75 percent off their normal price.

GameStop also has some games on sale today, which includes some recent EA games. Medal of Honor Warfighter is now on sale for $39.99 and Need for Speed Most Wanted got a price cut to $29.99.
