Weekend downloadable PC games sales for June 1-3

It's the first weekend of June. It's also the last weekend before E3 2012 starts up. So what can you do between now and then? Why, purchase and download some cheap PC games, of course.

Steam is offering to give its users a free weekend of play for Worms: Reloaded, the latest PC game in the long running turn-based strategy series from Team 17. The free play period ends on Sunday at 4 pm Eastern Time. You can also buy Worms: Reloaded, and indeed a ton of other Worms games, for 66 percent off their normal price from now until Monday on Steam.

Steam also has Saints Row The Third on sale this weekend for 66 percent off. There's also a bunch of indie games on sale as well on Steam but you better act fast; those offers expire at 1 pm Eastern time on Saturday.

GoG.com has a bunch of classic Ultima RPG titles, along with the Wing Commander games, on sale this weekend for 50 percent off their normal, and already low, prices.

GameStop has a number of games on sale this weekend, including Titan Quest for a mere $3.74 and Alan Wake for $11.89. GameFly has Serious Sam: BFE on sale for just $9.99 this weekend.

Bought all of the games on sale at GoG. Mainly looking forward to the Wing Commander series. Going to try really hard to get into the Ultima games. Might be too late though (they're so dated).
