Wife puts husband up for sale on Craigslist due to Modern Warfare 3

A lot of us have been there. We have played games until the wee morning hours. Before you know it, it's time to actually return to the real world and we discover that other things have happened in our absence. In the case of one fan of Activision's hit first person shooter Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, he found that his wife had actually put him up for sale on Craigslist as a result of his hobby.

ABC News reports that Alyse Baddley's ad on Craigslist for her husband Kyle said:

I am selling my 22 year old husband. He enjoys eating and playing video games all day. Easy to maintain, just feed and water every 3-5 hours. You must have Internet and space for gaming. Got tired of waiting so free to good home. If acceptable replacement is offered will trade.

The ad itself was, as most people might figure out, a joke by Alyse to get Kyle to figure out that playing Modern Warfare 3 was taking just a little too much of his time. Indeed she and Kyle's mother actually wrote the ad together. While most of the people who responded to the ad got the humor, a few took it more seriously and ask Alyse if she was having problems with her marriage.

But not to worry; Kyle apparently got the message and is now spending less time on Modern Warfare 3. He and his wife should be spending Thanksgiving Day today with Kyle's sister in Florida.

Passive aggressive bitch marries manchild.

I'm gonna take the middle ground here and say they're both terrible people.

Actually...it would be more interesting if she gave him an ultimatum...

It's either her or the video game that goes out the door.

Wonder what he would choose???

I'm having this kind of problem at home.... I'm addicted to MW3, I can't stop playing and it's causing me to go to bed at 2:00 a.m.. My wife is complaining about me because some days of the week I arrive late at work. I'm falling asleep all day long... I need to stop.... \o/

After posting that maybe they won't have a Xbox when they get back.

What a close-minded opinion. I play games quite a lot and my relationship is fine. The difference is that my fiancé plays the games with me half the time.

Yeah, but have you played Skyrim?

Seriously though, why not have both? My girlfriend enjoys both playing video games and watching me play them (though I also know when to take a break and spend time with her). Heck, she sometimes beats me at Super Street Fighter IV.

If you're a virgin with no experience whatsoever then that's understandable. yes.

Well, that depends also on the woman... the majority of them are way less appealing than a good videogame, a good movie, or even good food. Maybe she turned into a monster right after the marriage
