Telabria has partnered with the University of Kent in order to trial broadband wireless WiMAX technology over the Canterbury area. It's hoped that the WiMAX pilot will deliver business-class wireless broadband services to the entire city.
Commencing in early June, Telabria will run a 90-day pilot of WiMAX-based wireless broadband services to small/home offices (SOHO) and small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canterbury.
The technology is capable of delivering 45mbps symetrical connections within a radius of 15 miles.
