WindowFX 4.01

WindowFX 4 is a Windows app that lets you add special effects to your windows, enhancing your desktop experience.

What's in this update:

  • Added friction slider for momentum windows
  • Tweak to how sticky notes are handled with darken inactive windows
  • Tweak to darken inactive windows for report of darken effect not working right
  • Tweak for when an application stops responding; it no longer animates in when the OS detects it is not responding
  • Fix for a specific control panel with open animations not painting the window correctly

Current users can update via Impulse, and more information can be found at the WindowFX website.

I disable all the visual effects, except Aero because I find this bloat useless! And there's a program to add even more visual effects...

Do you have a slow GPU/CPU? There is no reason to turn it off. It is all handled by the GPU. You're silly.

I believe this is worth it for multiple monitor users, darkening non-active Windows and forcing flash to stay full screen if you are active on another screen.

I know the new flash 10.2 is supposed to do the full-screen but it does not work 90% of the time.
