Windows Live Passport blocking Gmail addresses

It has come to our attention via Mauricio that Microsoft's Windows Live Passport service is currently blocking new sign ups from any @gmail.com email addresses. The error message any user receives is "reserved domain" when attempting to sign up to the passport service using an @gmail.com address.

Microsoft has been made aware of the issue and is working to resolve this. In the mean time using @googlemail.com will workaround this problem.
