I played with one at a Microsoft store, and it's not bad. It is very fluid, and the new features are great. However, it still doesn't cater to my needs. Therefore, I can't justify leaving Android for WP8. For a person that is looking at iPhone, WP8 is an excellent alternative.

Regarding the 16GB - pretty much most of the studies that the big handset vendors have done note that the sweet spot is 16GB with far fewer going for the 32GB than the 8GB model. With that being said, it storage is really important then you could always get the HTC 8S which has a microsd slot. The maximum size is 32GB but I have a feeling that has more to do with 'this is what we've tested' rather than a case of simply not working - if you threw in a 64GB microsd card then you'll get the storage you want as long as you're happy to put up with a slightly smaller screen.
