This is release 20040505 of Wine, a free implementation of Windows on Unix. This is still a developers only release. There are many bugs and unimplemented features. Most applications still do not work correctly.
What's new in this release:
- Many more filesystem improvements, including autodetection of drive types and devices, and support for editing the drive configuration with winecfg.
- Many Direct3D improvements.
- Several fixes to the various sound drivers.
- Lots of bug fixes.
