Word Puzzle added to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Microsoft announced that it would be adding one more title to the list of Xbox 360 games that are backward compatible with the Xbox One. Today's addition is Word Puzzle.

The firm usually adds new titles on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Last week, we didn't get any on Tuesday, but three games were added on Thursday, marking an important milestone: there are now over 250 backward compatible Xbox 360 games. The news came almost exactly three months after the list reached 200 titles.

Backward compatible games are a great way to get "new" games on the cheap, but if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, don't forget about this month's Games with Gold, which gives away four free (two Xbox One and two backward compatible Xbox 360) games. You just have to claim them in time.

You've already missed the deadline for the two games that were available until the 15th, but you can still grab Earthlock: Festival of Magic (Xbox One) and Mirror's Edge (Xbox 360) until the end of the month, and Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China (Xbox One) until October 15.
