Xbox 360 Loses Two Exclusives to PS3

In a turnaround to recent events it is the Xbox 360 that has lost two exclusive titles, which will now be made available on both the 360 and PS3. SCi announced today that Kane & Lynch, announced in July as an Xbox 360 and PC title, and Crossfire, announced in September as an Xbox 360 and PC title, are now both officially hitting two next-gen consoles.

Sci expected earnings in the year to end-June to fall by 6 million pounds ($12.01 million), but the firm raised its profit target for the 2008 financial year by around 10 million pounds.

Ok, if you own a 360 and you never heard of Kane and Lynch you have yourself to blame just go dl the trailer...
in my opinion it looks awesome

wonder if anyone will start a petition . . .
people shouldn't waste time caring, of course companies are going to release on both, it means more profit for them.

I think more hit titles jumped ship from playstation to xbox then having no-name titles jump to ps also... please dumb biased articles

and heck when somethings also on the PC is no longer "exclusive" if it was on the XBOX only then its exclusive... Halo 2 was exclusive until it came out on pc (pending)

well in truth they weren't 360 exclusives...it says it in the article they were both to appear on the 360 and PC....that means they werent exclusive to 360....so yeah...good new for sony I guess?

Heh. I posted this in the Sony Gaming forum and over the past hour and a half there hasn't been one reply. I guess PS3 users aren't very excited about this either.

THe thing about the Eidos ones was that they weren't totally 360 exclusive in a sense. Basically Eidos said that they wouldn't bring games to the PS3 until the install base was big enough, they've decided that by the time their games come out the install base will be big enough meaning that they can go ahead with the release, it was really only a matter of time.

I thought they wouldnt publish games for the PS3 before 2008? :S because of the lack of player base

I've Heard of Kane & Lynch, but not the other. I was mildy interested in Kane & Lynch, but there's too many other standout titles that are coming out this year, so no big deal to be honest.

most? the action of one developer=most? not it's not that far yet....and like others have said I never knew these games were coming out for the 360 to begin with either.

that said, it's good that the love is being spread around for all systems, I have no problem with the ps3 getting some of the games the 360 is getting. Now it would be a blow to MS if they lost something like bioshock or mass effect or some a-grade game like that, but on a personally level I wouldn't care, it's good for everybody to have access to the games.

i have heard of them its the fact that most 360 developers are hopping over to the PS3 band wagon
That was sarcasm, right? :ponder:

Say what? I've never heard of either of these games.

The fact that no names are going to PS3 and big names are headed to 360 is worlds apart, gimmie a break, I barely consider this newsworthy.
