Xbox One digital TV tuner goes on sale in Europe

All the way back in August, Microsoft announced that it was launching a new accessory for the Xbox One, in the form of a Digital TV Tuner. Three and a half months later, the device is now available, having gone on sale in markets across Europe.

The device can take a coaxial input from free-to-air DVB-T, DVB-T2 and DVB-C television services, like Freeview in the UK, providing EPG support through the console's OneGuide, and Kinect voice support for channel-hopping and the like.

The device also supports the other entertainment features that the Xbox One has to offer, such as being able to pause and rewind live TV, and support for streaming live TV to other mobile devices via the SmartGlass app.

The Digital TV Tuner is priced at £24.99 in the UK or €29.99 in France, Germany, Italy and Spain, and is available exclusively from the Microsoft Store
