Microsoft will once again publish five Xbox Live Arcade titles later this summer as part of its annual Summer of Arcade event. Today, the Major Nelson website revealed the release dates as well as the prices for all five games. Xbox 360 owners who purchase three of the five games will get 400 free Microsoft points in return.
The first game is Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, a remake of the first skateboarding game that helped to launch the series many years ago. It will be released on July 18 for 1200 Microsoft points. Next comes Wreckateer, the Kinect exclusive castle wrecking game from developer Iron Galaxy that was first announced just a few weeks ago at E3. It's coming out on July 25 for 800 Microsoft points.
The three other games will all be priced at 1200 Microsoft points. The first is Deadlight, the impressive looking 2D side scrolling zombie action game from developer Tequila Works. It's due on August 1. Next comes Hybrid, the long awaited sci-fi multiplayer third person shooter from Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell. It will be released on August 8. Finally on August 15, Microsoft releases Dust: An Elysian Tail, a fantasy-themed action-adventure platformer from developer Humble Hearts.
