You can now buy Samsung's 8.4-inch Galaxy Tab A for T-Mobile at $284.99

Samsung's new 8.4-inch Galaxy Tab A made its debut last month with a cellular connectivity. Its Verizon variant became available for purchase first at $279.99, and today the tablet's T-Mobile version goes on sale for a bit higher price.

The device can be purchased either via Samsung or T-Mobile's website, with varying prices. On Samsung's online marketplace, it costs $284.99 while it is priced only at $11 per month or $264 for the entire 24-month contract on T-Mobile's website. The shipping dates posted by both websites differ as well. Samsung says the device will ship to consumers by May 13 while T-Mobile pegs its delivery at between May 30 and June 22.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 comes only in Mocha color variant with an all-metal design. It features a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) TFT display and a 5MP selfie camera. Round the back, there's an 8MP shooter. Inside, you'll find an octa-core Exynos 7904 processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage that's expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. Its 5,000mAh battery also promises up to 12 hours of video playback or 11 hours of internet browsing. It features Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and DeX support.
