You can now get an Xbox One for $225 in the US

If you’re in the market for an Xbox One, a GameStop deal is currently available that could get you the new-gen console for only $225.

GameStop is currently running a campaign which gives buyers $125 of in-store credit when you purchase an Xbox One, meaning buyers are getting a good discount. However, to receive the credit users need to turn in their old PS3 or Xbox 360 console.

This is essentially a buyback program for older consoles, and similar to a campaign that just ended which saw the same deal being offered for the PlayStation 4 console. The whole thing is slated to run until April the 25th in all US GameStop stores, though availability may vary.

This isn’t the first time that the Xbox One is getting good discounts, as Microsoft has continuously pushed prices aggressively, but despite that, the PlayStation 4 is still on top.
