Amazon is selling the Galaxy S20 FE with a $100 discount

Samsung"s latest smartphone, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) was announced just yesterday, and it packs a punch for its $699.99 price tag. However, if you want to pay even less, Amazon is already selling it for $100 cheaper than Samsung"s website, bringing the price down to $599.99.

This is the unlocked variant of the phone, meaning you should be able to use it with any U.S. carrier, though you won"t get support for mmWave 5G, only the sub-6 spectrum. Otherwise, you"re still getting the fairly recent Snapdragon 865 chipset, and 128GB of storage. The Amazon listing also states that this version comes with 8GB of RAM, though this may be an error since Samsung only announced a 6GB variant for the United States. Here are the official specs provided by Samsung:

  • 6.5-inch Full HD+ 20:9 (2400x1080) Super AMOLED display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (octa-core, up to 2.8GHz)
  • 6GB RAM
  • 128GB storage
  • Triple-camera setup (12MP main + 12MP ultra-wide + 8MP telephoto)
  • 32MP selfie camera
  • 4,500mAh battery

Unfortunately if you are in the UK or mainland Europe, there are no such tasty discounts available for it yet, with a preorder price of €730 being asked in Germany and £699 in the UK. In the United States, you can pre-order the phone on Amazon in any of the six colors available, as they"re all listed for the same price. The phone begins shipping next week, on October 2.
