Extracting messages from PST to EML files


Question

Hello,
 
I have some old backed up PST files. I now have a machine with OE but NOT 
OL. How do I extract the mails inside the PST into EML format?

If the software Budman linked you to is no good Aid4Mail will also convert PST to EML. It's not free, however if you have multiple inboxs to convert its probably the best $60 you will ever spend.

 

It will just about convert from anything to anything. I used to to convert Thunderbird and Outlook Express inboxs to something that could be used with Outlook 2013. Aid4Mail could just connect directly to the exchange server and recreate the inbox's folder structure, import all the email's with everything, including attachments.

 

No messing about, it just worked. Very impressed with it, certainly saved me a lot of time.

Hi there

It is not, that much catastrophic situation. You can easy go from PST to EML file format. 

You have two ways to get your EML files.

1. Use a trick which most tech geek does.

2. Go for purchasing a software from trusted vendors.
