Windows Camera panorama mode now available in the Production ring, but not for everyone

After being offered to the Fast ring over a month ago, Microsoft has finally released an update to Windows Camera that enables panorama mode to users on the Production ring. To be clear, the Production ring consists of devices that are not on the Insider Program.

All Windows 10 devices should have the ability to download the latest version of the app; however, the feature is not available to them all. When panorama was first offered to the Fast ring, a Feedback Hub post said that it would work on the Lumia 550, 650, 950, and 950 XL, along with some PCs, such as the Surface 3, Pro 4, and Book.

We've found that it works on other higher end Lumias as well, such as the Lumia 640, 830, Icon, 930, and 1520. In other words, pretty much any Windows phone that supported Lumia Camera 5 when on Windows Phone 8.1.

In our testing, we found that the Surface Pro 3 doesn't make the cut, along with lower end Windows phones like the Lumia 535 and Yezz Billy 4.7.

Have you received panorama on your phone yet? Let us know about it in the comments!
