Inertia
Since upgrading to 10.0.1 on my 128gb iPhone 6 (on the uk network three) phone calls are almost inaudible. to communicate I have to enable speakerphone, its a nightmare. Phone calls via my car through Bluetooth are unaffected. I've tried disabling noise cancellation under accessibility settings but this makes no difference, google reveals a fair few people have suffered from this and they mostly suggest that fix but it didn't work for me. I've got an iPhone 7 plus on order but my wife was supposed to inherit my 6 and i wouldn't want to give it to her like this! I may be being paranoid but i'm starting to wonder if this was intentional by apple to render older hardware 'less useful' I know they take a performance hit because the new operating system is optimised to take advantage of the new hardware, but this is too far if it is the case. anyone else seen this problem ? anyone care to comment / suggest anything ? Draconian Guppy
I would try a factory reset before anything else Always on anyway phone, after whatever upgrade (be it android or iOS), my phones are always left with hiccups that only disappear after I restore to factory settings. Inertia
10.0.2 fixed it, resetting never fixed it on this occasion. I think it was a software bug but at least its sorted now!
