It was only a few months ago that Blackberry unveiled its DTEK50 Android handset. Like previous Blackberry devices, the handset focused on security and providing the safest Android experience possible. While the DTEK50 wasn't the most elegant looking handset, it did offer a reasonable set of specifications for its $299 price.
Blackberry has returned with another handset, the DTEK60, a high-end Blackberry device that offers a little more power under the hood. The device offers a faster processor in the form of a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM, 21MP camera and 3000mAh battery. For those that are looking for a modern Android handset that offers the safety features of a Blackberry, the DTEK60 could be for you. Like the DTEK50, the '60' will be available directly from the Blackberry website and sold unlocked for $499. The bundle will come with a soft shell case and rapid charger.
