Microsoft is offering up to $650 for MacBook trade-ins

Whether you love technology or were looking to purchase a new computer, this week has been monumental, as both Microsoft and Apple held events to announce their latest offerings in the realm of computers. With both product lines now directly in the limelight, Microsoft has upped the ante by introducing a limited-time trade-in offer for those with MacBooks.

Starting today, anyone that wants to trade in their MacBook can do so by walking into a Microsoft Store. If you do not have a physical store near you, you can also go online and start the trade-in process there. If you aren't sure what model MacBook you own, Microsoft has made the online process as simple as possible by offering images for over 100 different models along with corresponding model numbers. Naturally, not every model will net the maximum of $650, so it will be best to check the valuation of your MacBook before you decide whether it is worth trading in.

The credit can be used to purchase Microsoft's latest Surface Pro 4 and the newly improved Surface Book. If you were looking for a good trade-in opportunity, be sure to take advantage of it as soon as possible because the promotion will end on November 10th, 2016.
