Microsoft slashes 20% off entry-level Surface Book in the UK

Yesterday, Amazon.co.uk offered 20% off Microsoft's entry-level Surface Book, in a deal exclusively available to Amazon Prime members. At the time of publishing that article, the device was still listed at full price on the Microsoft Store, but that has since changed.

Microsoft has now joined in the action, slashing just under 20% off the most affordable model in its Surface Book range, featuring an Intel Core i5 (Skylake) processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Unlike the Amazon deal, Microsoft's offer is open to all buyers.

Usually priced at £1,299, that model is now available for £1,045, cutting a hefty £254 off its cost. The device will remain at that price until November 3.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is offering another deal on the rest of its Surface Book range in the UK. When you buy any Surface Book with a discrete GPU, priced from £1,599, Microsoft will give you a free 500GB Xbox One S FIFA 17 bundle, worth £249.99.
