Before the Halo Wars 2 Blitz beta arrives tomorrow, you might want to read up on the basics

With a day to go before the start of Halo Wars 2 Blitz beta, 343 Industries has updated their site to offer pointers for the upcoming game accompanied by a tutorial video.

If you want to get ahead of the pack and start learning the game before it actually becomes available for download - you'll want to head over to the "Blitz 101" page that offers some insight on the game like how a deck actually works and how you can become victorious.

Blitz isn't your typical RTS game as it incorporates card-based elements. During the beta, you'll be able to take advantage of the following modes - 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 - and will be able to match with players on Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One consoles. The beta will be self-contained, meaning that any progress you make, will not transfer to the final product.

The Halo Wars 2 Blitz beta will start on January 20 and can currently be downloaded on PC. Those on Xbox will have to wait just a little longer. The beta for both the PC and Xbox will end on January 30. Halo Wars 2 will be available for purchase starting on February 21 for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
