Android 7.0 Nougat now being pushed to ZUK Z2, ZUK Z2 Pro

Keeping true to the statement made by a Lenovo official earlier this month, the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the ZUK Z2 and Z2 Pro has been released and updates for the devices are now being rolled out. The update is a little over 1.1 GB large and upgrades existing devices to ZUI 2.5.

Android 7.0 brings along with it the ability to have split-screens, custom lock screens and a significantly refined camera with 'professional' controls including shutter time and finer controls over ISO, among other things.

Unfortunately for those using the "international" (Indian) version of ZUI, you may have to wait for some time as the update is currently only being made available to those on the Chinese version of the OS. If you are using the Chinese version of the OS and do not live in China, you may have to spoof your location in order to receive the update.

Lenovo has continued to prioritize development of ZUI for its Chinese customers, with those on the international version of the OS receiving significantly slower and fewer updates, bug fixes and features.
