New Razer Blade launches with Intel Kaby Lake CPU, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060, and 4K touchscreen

After refreshing its Blade Stealth in September, and the Blade Pro in October, Razer has now launched a new version of its Blade gaming laptop.

The latest iteration of the sleek 14-inch notebook features one of Intel's latest 7th-generation 'Kaby Lake' processors, 16GB of RAM as standard, and a new optional touchscreen with 4K (3840x2160px) resolution. Another standard feature is the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU with 6GB GDDR5 VRAM, and buyers will be able to choose 256GB, 512GB or 1TB SSD storage options.

"More users embraced this flagship computer model in 2016 than ever before, and we are excited to make it even more available worldwide this year. Beyond gaming, it has been really gratifying to see people enjoying the power and portability of the Blade for video editing, music creation and software development."

Like other Razer notebooks, including its predecessor, the new Blade also features the company's Chroma keyboard lighting array, which can be extensively customized.

There are two core versions of the new Razer Blade, which differ only based on their displays: a standard Full HD panel; or a touchscreen with 4K resolution. Key specs of both models are shown below:

the United States, priced from $1,899 USD;
Canada, from $2,749 CAD;
the United Kingdom, from £1,799 GBP; and
