LG has been fairly aggressive when it comes to the pricing of its handsets, but it appears that Samsung may have some deals available through various retailers when it launches its latest devices, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
According to a leaked Target ad, which is a scan for the week of April 2 to April 8, the retailer will offer the Galaxy S8 or S8+ alongside a free Gear VR with Controller, and will also include a $100 gift card. While the ad does show off the handset we have come to know so well over the past couple months, it does not offer any details about pricing or availability. The ad merely states that you will be able to receive the perks when you pre-order and activate the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Samsung has previously included the Gear VR as part of its promotional bundles for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, but has also in the past offered other enticing items like a 256GB microSD memory card. The firm will be announcing the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ at its Unpacked event on March 29.
