It's been more than three months since Telltale Games launched the first two episodes of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. Today, the developer unveiled a new trailer and the release date for its third episode, Above the Law.
A New Frontier is the third title in The Walking Dead series of games that the developer has produced over the years. Each game (or season) is split into five episodes, releasing on a staggered schedule over the year.
The new game brought back a familiar face from previous seasons, in the form of an older and tougher Clementine, who serves as a protagonist alongside Javier, a new addition to the series.
Many plot points of the game depend on decisions you've made in older seasons and episodes, but Telltale has provided an overview of the upcoming chapter:
After the shocking events of 'Ties That Bind: Part Two', Javier struggles to find a role in his newly reunited family. Meanwhile, tension within the walls of Richmond grow. Will Clementine and the rest of the group turn against Javier? It may be time to choose between the family you’re born into and the family you've made.
You can grab Above the Law and continue the tale on March 28, available digitally on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices. For those who prefer a physical disk version, the developer made available a console exclusive physical edition of the game back in February.
Meanwhile, Telltale is also working on an episodic Guardians of the Galaxy game, having unveiled the first screenshots and details earlier this month.
