Called App Accelerate, this initiative seeks to help out application creators and independent software vendors (ISVs) to remain competitive in this quickly changing tech climate.
To that end, Microsoft is putting at the disposal of those who sign up a variety of "strategic planning resources". The firm encourages developers to take a look at the e-books and analyst reports to determine the best course of action in terms of ROI and market trends.
The key points of this program which were emphasized are:
- Technical guidance from expert engineers across Microsoft’s flagship cloud and data solutions, including Azure, SQL Server, and Power BI.
- Access to design sessions and deployment programs, such as the Data Accelerator and Power BI Embedded Accelerator offers.
- Testing and certification services to drive accelerated app innovation and deployment.
Along with these, folks that are part of the program also get access to detailed "resources on marketing and sales strategy", as well as services like AppSource and Azure Marketplace. This is meant to help with the discovery of potential clients, keep the app's momentum going, and lead to repeated success.
