WildWayz Posted May 22, 2017 Share Posted May 22, 2017 Hi guys I have an nVidia GeForce 1070 and use it through my TV (Samsung UE48JU6400 4K). It allows me to select 1920x1080 @ 60fps, as well as 3840x2160 @ 60fps. However, I want to use 2556x1440 for gaming, but it only lets me select 30fps. Or am I asking a really dumb question? 1920x1080 = not as high definition when viewing games.. 3840x2160 = can't get capped 60fps in games, but really high pixel quality.. Both Back in the old days, there was an app which unlocked the 'unsupported' refresh rates on monitors which worked... but that was back in the old days lol Not sure if it the same on a TV as a monitor.
