Red Hood is coming to Injustice 2 this June; new trailer released

NetherRealm Studios' Injustice 2 was released two weeks ago, but more trailers just keep arriving. Today, joining the array of character trailers - such as those for Swamp Thing and the Joker - is the Red Hood. The new trailer, shown above, showcases the range of different moves the character possesses, with enough firepower to even take down his own mentor, Batman.

For those unfamiliar with the comic storyline of this Red Hood, Jason Todd - there are multiple Red Hoods in the DC Universe of course - he was the second person to take on the mantle of Robin. After being murdered by the Joker, Jason Todd was subjected to the Lazarus Pit and was brought back to life as the Red Hood. He could be described as basically a Batman who isn't keen on keeping criminals alive.

In the trailer, Red Hood is seen using his signature dual pistols, knives, bombs, and more in combination with his martial arts skills to subdue his opponents. His super move is also demonstrated, where the aforementioned weapons are used in an impressive, massively damaging combo.

The trailer reveals Red Hood's entrance into Injustice 2 will be sometime in June. Meanwhile, the previously announced Fighter Pack 1 DLC, which includes Red Hood, Sub-Zero and Starfire is yet to receive a release date; but with character trailers already being published, fans probably won't have to wait much longer.
