GEIST
I've recently uninstalled all my games from this Windows 10 Pro machine. For some reason, many of their Start menu entries are still there and the Start menu itself does not allow for entry removal via context menu like previous Windows versions. Does anyone know of a safe way to clear these out of there?
Jim K Global Moderator Posted June 25, 2017 Global Moderator Share Posted June 25, 2017 You can right click on the shortcut ... go to More > Open File Location and remove the link ...or you can manually go to these directories where they are kept (they could be in one or the other) and remove/organize/etc.... C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and... %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Max Norris
Been a while, but if I recall CrapCleaner has an option to scan the start menu for dead links. (System/user environment paths and such too, if needed.)
