JustGeorge
There are no shortages of i7 6700k/7700k CPUs. Can buy them all day on newegg and Amazon. Why on Earth are people paying near or at full price for used CPUs on eBay? Possibly mistreated, maybe no ESD precautions when handled, May have been OC'd to hell, might have warranty problems with Intel....absolutely baffling to me. Talking about US auctions here. I mean, if you could buy a used i7 for $125-$150 off retail, it might be worth the risk but someone is smoking some good stuff to be buying these things for the current asking prices. Am I missing something here?
+Warwagon MVC Posted July 31, 2017 MVC Share Posted July 31, 2017 Same reason why someone paid $200 for an 16GB iPod Touch 3rd or 4th Generation on our local Facebook Swap. Idiots are born every minute. At the time I saw the listing I wanted to comment that you can buy a brand new 16gb model for the same price, but then later on it was Sold PPU (pending pick up) .. and I was thinking "You've got to be kidding me".
