FCC certifies Nokia 8 , 6GB RAM/128GB variant could come to the US

HMD Global's Nokia 8 made its debut last month and was the firm's first high-end Android smartphone. While it did mention that the smartphone would be available globally, it didn't give an exact timeline for when it would be offered in specific regions. While it was reported that a customized version of the handset could be coming to the United States, it appears that we might be getting closer to a release as it looks like the Nokia 8 has passed through the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

According to the new information, there are two listings, the TA-1004, and TA-1012, for the US. This model will offer 6GB RAM and will also come packed with 128GB of internal storage. Just as a refresher, the Nokia 8 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a 5.3-inch 1440p display, dual 13MP rear cameras, and a 3,090mAh battery. Although HMD Global has done a great job of revitalizing the Nokia brand with the Nokia 6 and 3310, the firm will be facing quite a bit of competition when it comes to flagships from the likes of HTC, LG, Samsung, and others.
