Nyko unveils wireless controller for SNES Classic Edition

It has been a long time coming, but on September 29, Nintendo will finally launch its much-anticipated console, the SNES Classic Edition.

While the console will arrive with two corded controllers in the box, there is always potential from third-party accessory manufacturers to produce their own controllers. Nyko is a familiar name that has previously released the Miniboss wireless controller for the NES Classic Edition. Today, it has announced its Super Miniboss wireless controller, that will be made for the upcoming SNES console and is now available for pre-order.

The controller features a familiar design that mimics the color and shape of the original SNES controller but will allow players to enjoy gaming from up to 20 feet away. Along with the original buttons, players will also have the option to engage a turbo mode, which will automatically press set buttons rapidly. As an added bonus, the controller will be rechargeable, making it easy to keep the battery topped off via a microUSB charging port.

The Super Miniboss wireless controller is now available for pre-order from Nyko, GameStop, and will be later arriving to Amazon.
