Nuculi
Hi there I have got this problem which is doing my head in i wonder if anyone can help. I have just been given a Intel Motherboard DQ670W (for kids computer) installed it everything is working fine but every time it boots up it comes up with a RM Computers? logo. So i looked in BIOS under System information and it looked like it came out of a RM PC? (Never heard of them) and has been used by Intel integrator Toolkit to customize. A recent BIOS update came out and i flashed successfully but all the RM crap was still there, it seems to just upgrade if you know what i mean. So my question is this, How do i Flash a downloaded BIOS from intel website and overwrite all the RM crap so it goes to a Stock Intel Board with Stock Intel Bios splash Screen and remove all the RM Stuff from System Info in BIOS? Circaflex
Is there a "reset to default settings" somewhere in there? Or follow the instructions here and change it to something you want/default https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000023875/boards-and-kits.html You can restore the defaults with intel integrator toolkit. Nuculi
I can change the boot screen no problem, but when i flash the created bios file it still shows all the RM stuff in BIOS. Tried going into BIOS and Loading Setup defaults Tried removing Battery, then reinserting ( Just resets Bios Settings) Time, Date etc Tried removing Jumper from Motherboard to enter Bios Recovery, then tried resetting settings, saving, Putting jumper back to boot to normal BIOS (RM Stuff Still there) Also doing this restores the BIOS original Password which was RM When i downloaded the latest BIOS and opened it with The toolkit all the settings are defaults with no System Info Present, but when i flash it, it changes the wallpaper but does not remove the RM stuff. Its like the BIOS settings are stored some were like in Memory or something, that i cant erase. There must be some way to Flash the BIOS and it gets rid of it all at once. SouthGate
RM Computers, as far as I remeber, are a no longer in business UK school PC supplier who had a tier 2 contract with Intel and those boards were also in limited commercial supply. You are probably looking at a new board in mainstream supply, to remove the logo. Is ts just the splash screen that you have a problem with? goretsky Supervisor Posted October 21, 2017 Supervisor Share Posted October 21, 2017 Hello, Have you looked into obtaining the Intel Integrator Toolkit for the Intel DQ67EP/DQ67OW/DQ67SW series of motherboards? If so, perhaps that can be used to modify the branding strings in the BIOS. Regards, Aryeh Goretsky Nuculi 1 Share

Or, you could find someone else who could do it for you. Nuculi 1 Share
JoseyWales
Just turn off the logo in the bios.. No logo then.. There are a few programs out there for modding a bios and your best bet would be to find a forum were they are all about that. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/ might be a good place to start. Nuculi
Thanks for all you responses, I have managed to do it, got rid of all the RM stuff from BIOS. What i had to do was find a old version of the Intel Integrator and customized my BIOS within that, flashed and it worked, Version 1.1 is what i had to use (Very Old Version) Think the problem i think lied because with this being a old motherboard i was using the newest version of the toolkit and it wasn't saving the settings or something. Anyway all sorted now, thanks for the tips +rep to all goretsky and +Mirumir 2 Share
goretsky Supervisor Posted October 23, 2017 Supervisor Share Posted October 23, 2017 Hello, Were the changes you made using the Intel Integration Toolkit persistent when updated the motherboard back to the latest BIOS firmware version? Regards, Aryeh Goretsky No, they were not saving my settings while i was using the latest version of the integrator or maybe i was doing something wrong. The version i used was more idiot proof and Windows based and you could modify everything, save and it would automatically reboot and flash the BIOS.
