What Cloud storage are you using, and why?

Question

Hi,

Everyone who reads this has folders containing10K-100K+ files.

Be it NPM installs, anonymous git files and so on.

I've been using Google Drive for years but usually it takes forever to scan all the files. On every launch.

Do you have this problem too? And are you reasonably happy with how your cloud service?

Cheers,

Gilad

OneDrive because meh, I don't use it that much. When I do, it is frequently tied to Office, so the choice is natural.

I don't know why it isn't simpler... like right click a folder and select "sync with OneDrive".. feel like MS is missing out there.

Google Cloud. Overall they are just lower cost, and it uses my Gsuite account.

For DR I have the ability to force my pipeline to AWS, but I have yet to have the need.

Code Repo -> Automation Pipeline -> Cloud provider = Awesome sauce

For static content, Google object storage is really nice. :)
