V-Bucks are up for grabs with Fortnite Fridays

Fortnite has become quite huge over the past year and Microsoft has taken notice. The firm has held events online in the past and is now bringing the experience to its retail spaces. Starting today, Fortnite Fridays will take place at your local Microsoft Store.

The event will be part of the ASUS ROG Arena and will start at 5:30p, lasting until 9pm local time. Those that participate will have the chance to take home 2,500 V-Bucks in Fortnite: Battle Royale. V-Bucks are an in-game currency that can be spent on customizations and items. If you are in attendance, you will be playing on ASUS ROG PCs, and if a keyboard and mouse isn't your thing, you can ask for a controller, where Microsoft will supply you with a Xbox Wireless Controller.

Fortnite Fridays Schedule

Solos: Every Friday, April 20 – Friday, May 11

Duos: Every Friday, May 18 – Friday, June 8

Squads: Every Friday, June 15 – Friday, July 6

If you are located in Tennessee, you can head to the Microsoft Store at Green Hills in Nashville to see special guest Tennessee Titans cornerback Adoree’ Jackson. He will be playing Fortnite: Battle Royale with children from Hillsboro High School and The Boys & Girls Clubs of America. If you want to join in on the Friday fun and participate at your local Microsoft Store, be sure to sign up online.
