Xbox Games with Gold for May 2018 brings Metal Gear Solid V, Vanquish, and more

The four games incoming to Microsoft's Games with Gold program next month have been revealed a bit earlier than usual today thanks to the above video being discovered. As always, the promotion includes two Xbox 360 and two Xbox One games, with the latter duo also available to Xbox One users thanks to Backward Compatibility.

Note that Super Mega Baseball 2's launch is slated for May 1, meaning all Xbox Live Gold members are receiving a free copy on day one. All the games included in next month's Games with Gold program are as follows:

Super Mega Baseball 2 (Xbox One, May 1 - 31)

The critically acclaimed Super Mega Baseball series is back with gorgeous new visuals, deep team and league customization, and long-awaited online multiplayer modes.

Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage (Xbox 360, May 1 - May 15)

Join Axel, Blaze, and company as they battle the evil Mr. X across all three Streets of Rage games. Originally released for the Sega Genesis, the classic brawler series has now been updated for release on Xbox LIVE Arcade! Earn all new achievements, take on challenging new game trials, compete with others players across Xbox LIVE Leaderboards, and clean up the streets with a friend in two player local and online co-op!

Vanquish (Xbox 360, May 16 - May 31)

VANQUISH is a sci-fi shooter of epic proportions with a fast, fluid and frenetic combat system. It takes the shooter genre to the next level by adding unique offensive and defensive moves, and kinetic melee combat.

For those who missed out, there's still over a week left before Microsoft refreshes its Games with Gold offerings for April, with The Witness and Dead Space 2 available until April 30, while Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be up for grabs until May 15.
