Xiaomi debuts Mi 6X that features a familiar looking rear camera

Xiaomi has been quite busy in 2018, debuting a wide range of new handsets for the year so far. The firm has now revealed its latest, the Mi 6X, which is a mid-range smartphone that will be available in China.

Despite its starting price of ¥1599, the device offers a 5.99-inch 18:9 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Those looking for a bit more can opt for the 6GB variant that comes with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. As for the camera, it has a dual sensor setup on the rear consisting of 20MP and 12MP units and a 20MP front-facing camera.

As you might expect, the phone also has a fingerprint sensor, which can be found on its rear, and makes use of USB Type-C when charging its 3010mAh battery. Sadly, there is no headphone jack on this unit. Luckily, its software is up to date, as it arrives running Android 8.1 Oreo. As mentioned before this will be available in China and there is no word whether it will make a global debut in the future.
