Weekend PC Game Deals: Some spring cleaning by Steam and another BundleFest

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

The Steam store has gone old-school this weekend with a special spring event that gives you various rewards for completing tasks revolving around cleaning up your gaming backlog. The rewards are largely limited to emotes and profile decorations, with the exception of a mystery item that could be useful in next month's Steam summer sale.

Also, as part of the event, the store has also put up free weekend promotions for nine very well-known games, which are:

And although not part of the above promotions, the open-world early access building title, TerraTech, has also chosen this weekend to have a free event.

Beyond that, Overwatch has also gone free-to-play on Blizzard's Battle.net client for the weekend. The popular hero shooter is celebrating its anniversary with the event, and its standard edition is even discounted by 50% on the store.

Returning with a host of new bundles is Fanatical's BundleFest promotion, and there are more than a few collections worth looking at.

The $9.99 Warner Legends Pack, for instance, brings in Mad Max, Batman: Arkham Origins, and Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition. Meanwhile, the Killer Bundle XI has The Technomancer, The Signal from Tolva, Forward to the Sky, and seven more games for $4.99.

Chroma Squad, Skullgirls, Deadlight, Mad Games Tycoon, as well as six additional games arrive with the All Stars X Bundle, which will set you back $1.99. Among other various bundles, the three main entries in the Anomaly series of tower defense games by 11 bit Studios is available in the Anomaly Dollar Bundle.

The $12 Destiny 2 carrying Humble Monthly Bundle is still going strong with almost a week left on its counter before it bites the dust. However, the store has now revealed two more games that you will receive as early unlocks in addition to the Bungie shooter: Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! and Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth.

You have until June 1 to decide if this bundle if worth your money, and once expired, the bundle will reveal the remaining games that it is carrying.
