Live image claims to offer a first look at the rumored Samsung Galaxy S10

While the next-generation Samsung Galaxy S flagship phone won't be expected to launch until early next year, leaks and rumors about the upcoming device are already starting to swirl. The most recent rumor claims an in-display fingerprint sensor will be baked into the next Galaxy S handset, which many believe will be called the Galaxy S10 despite Samsung's intention to change the lineup's naming scheme.

A new image has surfaced on Twitter, courtesy of renowned leakster @UniverseIce, purportedly giving us what could be our first look at the S10. The live image apparently shows an all-screen design, which means the device could ditch its top and bottom bezels entirely. Additionally, a curved display and a supposed Bixby button can be seen on the image in addition to its power key and volume rockers.

It's worth pointing out that the live image seems to corroborate the previous rumor about an in-display fingerprint sensor as there's no sight of the security tool on the front panel, though it could also likely be placed at the back of the device. What's more noteworthy about the photo is the obvious absence of a front-facing camera, which suggests Samsung could be slapping a pop-up camera module into the phone.

Overall, the prototype image shows a very different Galaxy S device compared to the previous flagship phones from the South Korean tech giant. Like any other rumors, however, this one must be taken with a pinch of salt for lack of confirmation.
