Today is Prime Day over at Amazon, and that means a ton of customers in many countries will be sniffing through the website looking for the best deals on the products they want - though we've picked out the best ones for you, don't worry.
Naturally, having such a massive influx of customers trying to jump on the promotions at the same time was bound to cause a strain on the website's servers, and it seems that it may have been a little too much for it to handle.
The sale went live at 3pm Eastern Time, and it took less than three minutes for Twitter users to report sightings of Amazon's fluffiest dogs.
Of course, Amazon probably wants this to be resolved as quickly as we do, and it seems the company has added a sort of captcha verification to access the website. Still, our experience with it has been somewhat unusual as well. Search results show empty lists despite stating that there are hundreds of results for the search query. We're not certain this is due to the same overload, but it does seem strange.

The Amazon Prime Day sale lasts until tomorrow, and more deals will be coming over the next few hours. Hopefully, the website will be able to recover quickly so customers can enjoy the deals without frustration.
