Microsoft's new PUBG Xbox Wireless Controller has trigger grips

Today is the first day of Gamescom 2018 in Germany, and Microsoft is among the first out of the gate with its announcements. Today, the company announced a PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds variant of the Xbox Wireless Controller.

The controller is covered in digital camouflage, with a gold D-pad and a blue ring around the left thumbstick. That blue ring can represent the playing area closing in around your thumb.

There's a PUBG logo on the back, as well as an X under the right trigger. One of the most notable things about the new Wireless Controller is that the triggers actually have grips, something that's not available on any other standard Xbox Wireless Controllers. This might be helpful if you're playing for hours on end and your hands get sweaty.

The limited edition PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Xbox Wireless Controller won't be available until October 30, but you can pre-order it beginning today. You can find it here for $69.99. The listing also says that it will offer exclusive in-game content, but Microsoft didn't go any deeper into what that might be.
